Parking
Parking will be on a first come, first served basis in the lots shaded blue in the photograph of the Bangor Area High School shown below.
Prizes
Prizes for the Slater Showcase are custom-made by students of the Career Institute of Technology.
Prizes will be awarded in the following categories:
Top 10 in Show. Everyone who attends the Slater Showdown will have the opportunity to judge cars for these prizes. Participants can use their phones to scan QR code to access the ballot.
Speciality Awards - Best of Show, Best Paint, Best Motorcycle, Best Tractor, All Original Award. Specialty awards will be judged by a panel of car show enthusiasts.
Speciality Award - CIT Student Favorite. This award will be judged by students of the Career Institute of Technology.
Specialty Award - Administrator's Favorite - This award will be judged by the administrators of the Bangor Area School District.
Proceeds
All net proceeds from the Slater Showcase will benefit students from the Bangor Area School District and the Career Institute of Technology.
Registration
Registration for cars, motorcycles, and tractors will take place on the day of the show. There is no pre-registration. The cost of registration is $20 cash. There will be no other forms of payment.

Judging for Top 10 Awards - Throughout the show until 2:00PM
Judging for Specialty Awards begins - 11:00AM
Awards Ceremony begins - 2:00PM
Car Show ends - 3:00PM
Vendors
If you are interested in a vendor space, we can accommodate a space up to 20' x 18'. There will be a $25 cash charge for vendor spaces. There will be no other forms of payment. Spaces will be available in our parking lot which is a paved surface. Vendors will be responsible for providing tents, tables, and power. Vendors can begin setting up at 8:00 AM on the day of the show.
The Slater Showcase takes place on the Bangor Area School District property. School district policies and procedures must be followed at all times. Weapons, alcohol, cigarettes/e-cigarettes, and other items as determined by the Pennsylvania School Code of 1949, Bangor Area School District policies and procedures, and Federal, State, and local laws are prohibited for sale or use. Bangor Area School District administrators reserve the right to decline vendor spaces if the products or subject is not school-appropriate.
